GEOLOGY - Modern volcanoes and mudflows show us that finely granulated
sedimentary layering occurs quickly. Evolutionary dating of historical
volcanic activity (like Pompeii's ash of 79 A.D. or Mount
St. Helen's new lava dome of 20 years ago, or various Hawaiian
lava flows) clearly indicates that radiometric dating
methods don't work any better than popsicles on hypothermia.
Recorded history dates back to less than 5,000 years. Ancient
calendars from disparate parts of the world show starting points that correspond
pretty well to their establishment *after* the Great Flood. When
we look at the rate of geological processes in the modern world several
assumptions are made; one of these is that "the present is the key to the
past" and everything must have formed just as slowly as we see happening
today. But an even more important assumption by evolutionists is
that the Flood must not have happened (or that it was merely local, i.e.
insignificant, making the Bible untrue, as "we all know"). Admitting
the evidence that shows the Great Flood would strongly indicate that our
planet has an Owner and that He claims the right to judge us. The
natural (unredeemed) man cannot admit this (...hence a large part of evolution's
popularity, with or without valid scientific evidence to truly support
evolutionary beliefs).
About 4,400 years ago the fountains of the deep broke up and there was
tremendous volcanic activity worldwide. Radiometric dating of this global
event (over the course of the Year of the Flood) sometimes shows it to
have occurred millions or even billions of years ago. But just like more
recent historic volcanic events (see first paragraph), the various radioactive
dating methods are inconsistent and often simply wrong. The myth-ions and
myth-ions of years currently believed never really happened. Geology of
current cumulative earth changes work fine at slow speeds when uninterrupted.
But documented catastrophes clearly show rapid geological changes with
stacked, narrow layers and rapid gullying. Then the slow erosion and deposition
resume upon the new landscape. (text by P.A.)
