Houston's creation organization - active in coordinating speakers and seminars.  GHCA takes Genesis, and the rest of the Bible, literally.  So that there is no ambiguity, this means that our Savior and Creator was responsible for creating our world in six 'literal' days, around 6000-10000 years ago.  Approximately 2000 years after Creation, the cataclysmic Flood of Noah occurred. It was world-wide in extent and lasted about one year from start to finish. Most sedimentary rocks of the so-called "geologic column" we see today are mainly a testimonial to and evidence of the cataclysm.

Museum, bookstore, presentations, guide service & visitor resource packets.  The Mount St. Helens Creation Information Center invites you to stop here to get the "point" our Creator left in the wake of the 1980-1984 eruptions - although there is literally no point any more on the mountain, there is truly a message from deep in the crater and its surroundings that you will not find at any other visitor center on Spirit Lake Memorial Highway. 

This center relates how geological formations, such as those created by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, show that the earth may be only thousands of years old rather than billions.  Many scientists now believe the best explanation for geological strata is that some catastrophe formed them.  Creation scientists believe that the world-destroying Biblical Flood was the foremost catastrophe.

"The Center" is not a creation science organization.  Their focus is "Design Theory: A New Science for a New Century" as related to ID - Intelligent Design theory.  Materialistic thinking dominated Western culture during the 20th century in large part because of the authority of science.  The Center for Science and Culture (formerly called: "Center for the Renewal of Science & Culture") seeks to challenge materialism on specifically scientific grounds.  They have also pioneered alternative scientific theories and research methods that recognize the reality of design and the need for intelligent agency to explain it.

The KCSG believes the Bible from The Very First Word and strives to equip others with the materials and information needed to fight against the teachings of evolution.
