Volcanic Eruption, May 18, 1980 |
Mount St. Helens' 30th with hymn-sing Creation scientists attribute the rapid recovery of life at Mount St. Helens to God's design for ecosystem adaptability. With that in mind, the 7Wonders Creation Museum will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the eruption with an early evening hymn sing Sunday, June 27th from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Dr. Keith Swenson, science professor at Multnomah School of the Bible, and author on biological recovery, will be speaking on the subject. |
Preceding the vesper service will be an afternoon tea with opportunities to view the Museum's new displays which concentrate on the geological features formed by all the eruptions of the 1980s at Mount St. Helens. It is the only Museum on Hwy 504 showing specifically how MSH features relate to earth's catastrophic past and the Global Flood.
The Museum operates as a free, non-profit corporation supported by book sales and donations. It carries the largest selection of creation science materials of any bookstore in the Northwest.
Due to limited space, reservations are required for the June 27th event. Call: 1-360-274-5737.
