    What does the Bible say about ancient man?

Psalm 8:5 declares clearly that man was made by God just a little lower than angels. The original word translated there as “angels” is the Hebrew word “ELOHIM.” It is used throughout the Old Testament to refer to Almighty God himself.

According to the Bible, man began at the top and then fell into depravity because of rebellion (sin) against his Creator.

The reality of all verified history, including our most trustworthy history book ever (the Bible), depicts man at his best in the beginning. He has been on a downhill slide ever since.

    What does all verified history tell us about early man?

Keep in mind that our goal is to discover the facts! We want to get information that is verified. We are interested in theories only insofar as they can be backed up by the facts. The well-known fact of man’s existence on earth is that his history goes back only about 5,000 years. The ancient Hebrew Scriptures are not the only record of this. Other early cultures testify to a similar starting point in time. Anything proposed to go back before 5,000 years ago is sheer speculation based on the insistence of evolution and the rejection of true history.  The Great Pyramid (right) contains over 2 million precisely cut massive stone blocks. The cornerstones are of ball & socket design, i.e. able to deal with heat expansion and even earthquakes. The largest of all the ancient pyramids worldwide, it is also the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still survives today.    The Colosseum in Rome could seat about 50,000 spectators at a time. That is comparable to many city arenas of today. Multiple elevators lifted men, animals, and cargo.  It's still the largest amphitheatre ever built.

Is modern man really more advanced than ancient man?
